Bio
Tan Ru Yi, a visual artist born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Moved to Japan in 2000. Completed the Graduate Program in Experimental Art at Nagoya Zokei University. Currently based in Fukuroi, Shizuoka, Japan.
Tan Ru Yi explores sculpture as a field where material, perception, and collective emotion intersect. Working with everyday materials such as cardboard, clothespins, and sticky notes, she creates installations that reconfigure the unnoticed relationships between people and objects embedded in daily life. Through accumulation and spatial arrangement, ordinary materials become structures that reveal hidden perceptual patterns.
Her ongoing concept “LAMRON,” the reversed spelling of “NORMAL,” examines how socially shared frameworks shape what we perceive as natural or standard. By shifting viewpoint, scale, and distance, familiar objects begin to produce alternative visual orders, destabilizing the boundaries of the ordinary.
In recent projects, Tan expands sculpture beyond physical matter into the realm of voice and emotion. By collecting people’s worries and personal fragments as recorded voices, she composes sound-based works in which individual voices accumulate into collective emotional landscapes. Through these practices, sculpture becomes both spatial and temporal, emerging through participation, relation, and shared human presence.

陳如儀
出生於馬來西亞吉隆坡。2000年赴日留學。畢業於名古屋造形藝術大學研究所實驗型美術研究科。現居日本靜岡縣袋井市。
陳如儀的創作將雕塑視為一個交會於物質、知覺與集體情感之間的場域。她運用紙箱、曬衣夾、便利貼等日常材料進行裝置創作，重新建構人與物在日常生活中無意識形成的關係。透過材料的累積與空間的安排，原本平凡的物質被轉化為新的結構，並顯現出潛藏於日常知覺中的感知模式。
其創作核心概念之一為「LAMRON」，即「NORMAL」的反向拼寫。透過改變觀看的角度、距離與尺度，熟悉的物件會產生截然不同的形象與秩序，從而動搖我們對「正常」與「日常」的既定認知框架。
近年來，她的創作逐漸延伸至聲音與情感的領域。透過收集人們的煩惱、情緒與個人片段的聲音，她將這些聲音疊加與累積，形成在時間中展開的聲音景觀，使聲音本身成為一種在時間中生成的雕塑。
在物質形成的空間雕塑與聲音形成的時間雕塑之間的往返之中，她持續探索個體內在與社會空間相互交會的界面，並思考由參與與關係所生成的「社會雕塑」之可能性。

タン・ルイ

タン・ルイは、物質・知覚・集合的感情が交差する場として彫刻を探求している。ダンボール、洗濯バサミ、付箋など身近な素材を用いたインスタレーションを通して、日常の中で無意識に形成される人と物との関係性を再構築する。素材の集積や空間配置によって、ありふれた物質は新たな構造へと変化し、私たちの知覚の奥に潜むパターンを浮かび上がらせる。
作品の根底には、「NORMAL」を反転させた概念「LAMRON」がある。視点や距離、スケールの変化によって、見慣れたものは別の秩序や像を立ち上げ、私たちが“普通”と呼ぶ認識の枠組みを揺さぶる。
近年は、人々の悩みや感情の断片を声として収集し、音の重なりによって時間の中で立ち上がる彫刻的風景を制作している。物質による空間の彫刻と、声による時間の彫刻。その往復の中で、個人の内面と社会的空間が交差する地点を探り、参加と関係性によって生成される「社会的彫刻」の可能性を探求している。
